An August full of tomatoes! 21 quarts of the most delicious tomato juice put up in Buffalo with my mom..

Albert's delicious tomato "sushi" with the pesto cucumber relish and mozzarella..

I recommend making this for dinner... fresh baquette, lively run goat cheese and local tomatoes (thanks mom!), roasted green pepper and garlic, grilled zucchini and yellow squash and corn. YUM!

This Sunday we're buying another 1/2 bushel of tomatoes from our favorite farmer, Jeffrey. I'll hot pack chopped tomatoes, roast another pan or so.. maybe make some tomato sauce to freeze.
